st. clair college campus to conduct emergency exercise

st. clair college on its main campus on thursday morning will conduct the second of three emergency communication exercises that feature an active attacker for students and staff at the south windsor campus.
the test scenario will take place starting at 10:15 a.m. a similar exercise will take place at the college’s chatham campus on thursday, april 15 starting at 2:15 p.m.
exercise times have been communicated to students and staff and neighbouring schools, senior living residences and churches. the college’s downtown windsor campus scenario was previously conducted.
college staff and student have been requested to download the alertus emergency communication app to their phones. as in the past communications exercise, there will be test messaging on the alertus app, computer screens and through classroom discussions.
the college has been working with windsor police in preparation for the communication exercises.
