a lot of kinky things can happen over nine months on a cruise ship.
an aura of rumours surrounds a nine-month-long cruise around the world run by royal caribbean as some believe it is a front for an underground swinging playground.
some keen-eyed tiktok viewers claim to have seen secret signs of a swinger’s paradise in a video shared by traveller adita larson while she participated in royal caribbean’s ultimate world cruise aboard the serenade of the seas, which began on dec. 10, 2023.

in the video , adita, who is travelling with her husband lee, gives a tour of her cabin, which apparently features a pineapple cut-out.

according to the daily mail , an upside-down pineapple is a sign used by swingers to identify each other while in public.

the peanut gallery was sure to state that the travelling couple were indeed swingers.

the pineapple, emphasis on room number, couch facing the bed….yeah lol,” one wrote.

“the swingers have arrived,” another stated.

it was just a matter of time until we saw a pineapple on someone’s door,” another weighed in.

because of the speculation, adita addressed the swinging rumours in a follow-up video in which she denied she and her hubby were participating in an outgoing and open sexual lifestyle.

“sorry to disappoint you, but we are not swingers. but we do like pineapples,” said adita, while showing off the pineapple-themed jewelry she was wearing.
that didn’t stop viewers from further speculating about the couple’s alleged fruity sexcapades.

finding humour in the rumours, adita shared another video from new year’s eve that was captioned : “swinging into 2024!”

while the larsons may not be swingers themselves, that doesn’t mean others aboard the cruise ship weren’t.
in another video, adita shared pictures of cabin doors adorned with an upside down pineapple.
“swingers on the world cruise! well look what i found on my walk down the halls this morning! they are here after all,” she said.

the ultimate world cruise website boasts about how its more than 2,400 guests will have a chance to “bond with like-minded explorers over 274 nights of global discoveries across all seven continents.”
