a regional pizza hut manager told investigators that stengel had cashed a $7,000 inheritance cheque before work on feb. 3. he apparently showed fellow employees a large sum of cash and ingram was one of the workers who saw the money, the manager added.

investigators went to ingram’s home and questioned his girlfriend.

“is this about alex?” she asked, referring to stengel, reports nbc affiliate wral.
