the largest of the ongoing outbreaks in the latter category are at the city-run centre d’accueil champlain ltc home (30 staff members and 10 residents have tested positive, and no one has died); the ottawa-carleton detention centre (30 inmates and six staff have tested positive, no deaths), and in the 5e unit at the ottawa hospital’s general campus (18 patients have tested positive and eight have died, in addition to two cases among staff). all three outbreaks date back to mid- or late may.
