both organizations are calling for canadians to support critical charity programs in places like east africa and for canada to begin to share doses as soon as possible with the world health organization’s covax. canada has pledged to contribute $440 million in funding to help other countries int heir battle against covid-19. however, golby said canada is one of two g7 countries to not contribute or pledge to contribute vaccines, which is what covax needs.
