the new one-page format replaces the covid-19 vaccination record launched in saskatchewan in august , which does not include a qr code. the new format with qr code also notes the individual’s name, type of vaccine administered, date, country of issuance and lot number.

since august, when the saskatchewan roughriders announced proof of vaccination or a negative covid-19 to gain entry for their sept. 17 game, talk has turned to an easy to use qr code.
wallet cards showing vaccines administered will also be considered acceptable proof of vaccination to meet the conditions of the public health measures announced on thursday.
