pelvic rock (standing)

  1. stand in a comfortable, neutral position with your feet hip-width apart. place your hands on your hips, with your fingers in front.
  2. gently rock the top of your hips backward, flattening your back. your fingers will move up slightly.
  3. return to the neutral position.
  4. now gently rock the top of your hips forward, arching your back. your fingers will move down slightly.
  5. return to the neutral position.
  6. repeat 8 to 12 times, gently rocking your pelvis backward and forward.
