three people, including a baby, were hit by a vehicle on monday night in etobicoke.
toronto police said on x that they responded to a crash before 10 p.m. in the queensway-kipling ave. area after receiving reports of a baby and two adults being struck by a vehicle.
the baby and one of the adults were transported to a hospital. a toronto paramedic services spokesperson said the child, about two to three months old, suffered serious injuries, while a female in her 30s had minor injuries.
the other person was assessed on scene, but paramedics were unable to provide an age or a gender for them.
toronto police said that the driver remained at the scene and westbound traffic on the queensway was closed at zorra st.
“delays in the area,” police said on x. “use alternate routes.”
