windsor police have seized almost $46,000 in stolen property and arrested the last of three suspects following a break-in several months ago.  

the windsor police service said its target base unit began investigating may 27 after a break and enter at a commercial property in the 3600 block of lauzon road.  

police said the culprits stole 30 compression fittings, which only utility companies can buy. the fittings were worth a total of about $45,540, according to investigators.  

officers recovered 29 of the 30 stolen fittings. police also identified three suspects, and eventually arrested them over the last few months.  

on may 29, officers arrested a 48-year-old woman, who has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime and trafficking property obtained by crime.  

they arrested a 37-year-old man on aug. 9 and charged him with possession of property obtained by crime, trafficking property obtained by crime, and fraud under $5,000.  

police arrested the final suspect, a 56-year-old man, on monday. he has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime and trafficking property obtained by crime.
