the grants support early-stage, innovative health research and grant projects in windsor and
essex county. the goal is to address healthcare gaps, spark new ideas, and foster collaboration.
there are two major programs within we-spark: the igniting discovery grant, “a highly competitive peer-reviewed” program with reviewers across the country; and the incentive grant, which provides support to projects that are “really close to being nationally funded,” cavallo-medved said.
