by: dave battagello the windsor-essex county health unit has declared all area beaches as being open and safe for swimming this week with one exception.
the beach remains open, but swimming in not recommended at mettawas beach in kingsville due to a high e-coli count based on the results of bacteria sampling released by the health unit on wednesday.
