in fact, the first day of america’s 118th congress became a pissing match between republican renegades marjorie taylor greene and lauren boebert.
what started out as a trip to the ladies’ room became a full-blown brouhaha, according to the daily beast. the pair — one-time right-wing allies — were allegedly arguing over a man.
and his name is house speaker rep. kevin mccarthy (r-calif.)
when it comes to mccarthy, the femme firebrands went their separate ways with greene backing mccarthy while boebert was dead-set against him.

on jan. 3, the pair squared off in the house women’s washroom.
“greene questioned boebert’s loyalty to mccarthy, and after a few words were exchanged, boebert stormed out,” the daily beast quoted a fight club insider.

another source added that greene stormed out of stall and challenged the gun-loving colorado republican: “you were okay taking millions of dollars from mccarthy but you refuse to vote for him for speaker, lauren?”
boebert fired back: “don’t be ugly.”
the witnesses said boebert then “ran out like a little schoolgirl.”

however, it was greene who was wrong. campaign finance records show that her brunette rival actually didn’t take any money from mccarthy’s political action committee in 2022.

she did vote against mccarthy the first 13 times she was called to cast a ballot in the house speaker contest. on the 14th and 15th vote she flipped her vote to “present.” that let mccarthy passively win the ballot.
rep. debbie dingell (d-mich.) allegedly witnessed the verbal donnybrook but refused to offer any details.

it has been a tumultuous year for taylor greene.
she was the subject of lurid headlines involving her divorce and rumoured long-ago affairs with a personal trainer at her georgia gym and trysts with a tantric sex instructor.
