as if a label reading ‘bag of drugs” wasn’t a dead giveaway for police.

a 41-year-old florida woman was arrested after officers from florida state patrol found a ton of crack, meth and pills in a pouch with the aptly named label during a traffic stop, the new york post reported.

lauren riley was riding shotgun with her friend when they were pulled over this past saturday in st. petersburg for failing to wear a seatbelt. according to a police report acquired by the smoking gun , an officer reportedly saw riley searching for something on the passenger side floor and found a small piece of tin foil that appeared to be burned.

that’s when the patrol officer asked riley to leave the car. upon searching her purse, the cop found the pouch, which allegedly contained 3.25 grams of cocaine, 1.75 grams of crack, and a gram of crystal meth.
riley also reportedly had 4.5 alprazolam pills (an anti-anxiety drug), 1.5 opioid pills and two dextroamphetamine pills (used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). a metal spoon, a syringe and four glass pipes were also allegedly spotted in the “bag of drugs.”
the woman was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession and was sent to pinellas county jail where she was later released. the unnamed driver was also arrested for having an open booze container in the vehicle.
