golf influencer paige spiranac reveals harrowing health scare

"i went on vacation and then had to deal with my health"

golf’s top influencer paige spiranac has revealed she recently had a serious health scare that left her terrorized.
spiranac, 29, took to instagram to share details of the fright with her three million followers.
the former pro recently dialled back her social media presence to focus on her health, she said. doctors had discovered a lump on her breast during a routine check-up.
despite the fright, she said she appeared to be ok.
“sorry for not being as active lately on social media. i went on vacation and then had to deal with my health,” spiranac wrote.
“during an annual check-up, they found a lump in my breast. i recently had to get a biopsy done. it came back negative which i’m so grateful for!”
she used her massive platform to encourage fans to get a check-up. spiranac also said the scare was a wake-up call and that people should be mindful of others’ health struggles that are often fought out of the eye of the public.
“you never know what people are going through behind closed doors so extending kindness is so important,” spiranac said. “i want to thank you guys for always sending so much love and support my way.”
spiranac — who also hosts the popular golf podcast playing a round — has long been an open book with her army of fans. she said she’s built up a relationship based on trust with her fan base and both sides are comfortable with vulnerability.

“i’ve built so much trust with my followers that they feel really comfortable opening up to me and it’s really been a positive community,” spiranac told the new york post in september.
“i’m happy that i have them, and i think, hopefully, that they’re happy that they have someone they can talk to as well.”
