the saints piled up over 500 yards in offence in an 83-0 ontario football conference win over the hamilton hurricanes on saturday at acumen stadium.
quarterback maurice sodja had 10 carries for 94 yards and ran in three touchdowns and also completed 13-of-19 passes for 198 yards and threw three touchdown passes.
running back m.j. doyle-marshall had 14 carries for 114 yards and a touchdown with erhomo iroriteraye and jesse burella also recording touchdown runs.
cameron st. kitts-park had two touchdown receptions with javier lewis and john baya also hauling in touchdown receptions with quarterback matthew guenette also throwing a touchdown pass.
jack lewis kicked three field goals and converted all 10 scores for the saints (4-0) with the defence forcing a pair of safeties by the hurricanes (0-4).
flyers start quickly
the leamington flyers won back-to-back road games to start the ontario junior hockey league season.
the flyers beat the haliburton huskies 8-2 on saturday after starting the season with a 7-1 on friday against the lindsay muskies.
adrian bosey scored twice and added an assist against the huskies. brody cook, anthony ciaramitaro, griffin grundner, ethan tatomir, colton smith and brayden degelas added single goals. mason landry and carter gillen each chipped in with three assists.

saints baseball sweep
the st. clair saints opened the ocaa baseball season with a pair of shutout wins on the road against the sault cougars on saturday.
the saints took the opener 7-0 and followed with a 16-0 victory. jordan miller had two hits in the opener and colin robinson drove in a pair of runs in support of pitcher brady knelsen, who allowed just one hit and struck out 10.
in the second game, mitch mccosh had three hits and drove in four runs while henry real finished with four hits and drove in two runs. adrian harrison also had three hits and drove in two runs. brock whitson picked up the win with just a single hit allowed in five innings while striking out eight.

the st. clair saints opened ocaa softball play by taking three-of-four games.
the saints beat fanshawe 10-0 on sunday after falling 2-0 to humber and scored a 12-3 win over sheridan and an 11-1 victory over mohawk on saturday.
reese grondin had eight hits in 14 trips to the plate in the four games with a home run, seven runs driven in and five runs scored. shae-lynn murphy had six hits in the four games and ada umerah finished with five hits. danna juarez picked up three pitching victories.
